The summer here in Turkey has been a bit warmer than usual. This has meant that we have seen the thermometer creep up towards 45 degrees and the sea water has shown 30 degrees, so children and childish souls have enjoyed life on the beach a bit more than usual.
At the moment, the temperature is around 32-34 degrees from morning to night, and when we get further into the month of October, it will drop to around 28-30 degrees, perfect for good experiences for both young and old.

Do you have your insurance under control?
DASK – Earthquake Insurance This is insurance that is required by law, so you must have it
Building insurance – is the policy that covers water damage, pipe damage, etc. This is voluntary, but we definitely recommend that you get this done, as you can otherwise end up in a situation where it costs you dearly if the accident happens
Furniture insurance – This is insurance that covers all the furniture in your home. Furniture, white goods, burglary, things that may be damaged by water damage, glass etc
Travel insurance – Always remember to make sure you have your travel insurance under control. We often see how important this is, especially when we help our customers when they get sick during their stay down here. A hospital visit can result in large sums of money for a treatment, so we recommend that you follow up on this before leaving home.

If you want to try and experience what the dentists can do in Turkey, do as we do, visit the dental clinic ALL – Dental.
ALL – Dental is a dental clinic with 3 dentists, each with their own profession. Jeanette herself has been to the clinic, as it is important for her to experience for herself what we recommend to our customers. She got an x-ray, checked all her teeth, did a teeth cleaning and polished them all her teeth and paid for this whole package only 50 Euro. They speak English at the clinic and working with the latest dental technology equipment.
Statement from Jeanette: I felt very safe and they were extremely good at telling me what happened along the way and what they observed during the entire study. They made extremely professional recommendations and let me make decisions myself that I was ready to have carried out;

Inflation
As most people proberbly have noticed, inflation and price increases in Turkey are enormous at the moment and therefore also a big topic in the country. As a provider on the market, these challenges are felt extra strongly, but we try to find a fine balance with it all.
Our only and great joy arround this matter is that all people who come from outside, do not feel this increase compared to your own currency, as its strength has increased in step with the country’s many price increases.
A beer costs approx for you the same 5 years ago as it costs today.
Below we will give you a small picture of the price ıncreases that we battle with on a daily basis:
– DASK insurance has increased around 500%
– Water has increased by 421%
– Electricity has increased by 38%
– Insurance has increased by approx. 35% (Depending on cover and type)
The country’s official inflation rate is 64%, which is in no way related to the prices we are introduced to in our everyday life down here.
A good cause
The Spinal Cord Paralytics Association of Turkey (TOFD) has successfully completed a plastic cap campaign since 2011. Instead of throwing away the lids of your water bottle or soft drink, you can advantage save them and enable disabled people to move on their own, and experience the world 750 kg lid, it corresponds to the 1st manual wheelchair, 5.5 ton lid equals it to 1st battery powered wheelchair.
With every lid we contribute to the production of a wheelchair and help disabled people take a step against their freedom.
So if you want to be part of this great cause, please come in with all your lids as you can collect during your stay. then we ensure that they are delivered to the right place – Together we are strong
Renovation
Throughout the summer, our craft department has been very busy helping our loved
homeowners with home renovation – We are currently preparing an organizational plan across
winter 2024/2025, where we have to help a lot of our customers with some of the following tasks.
– New Kitchen
– New bathrooms
– Renovation of terraces and balconies
– Painting work
