Information regarding the current situation
Based on the current conflict in Iran and surrounding regions, we would like to provide you with an update so that you can feel safe regarding the situation in Alanya and Turkey in general.
The Turkish government has chosen not to allow the country’s military bases to be used in connection with this conflict. Although some bases are used in cooperation with international actors such as the USA and NATO, they remain under Turkish control, and Turkey has the authority to restrict or close access if necessary.
Alanya is geographically far from the affected areas, and therefore there is currently no concrete risk or threat in the region.
As always, we recommend staying informed and following general travel guidelines—regardless of destination.
Turkey continues to remain neutral and is not actively participating in the conflict.
