When it comes to inheritance and securing your family and property in Turkey for the future, there are several different options available.
We do not recommend one standard solution for everyone, as every family and situation is different. We therefore always take the individual family’s needs as our starting point.

A will prepared solely in your home country is not sufficient to ensure that your affairs are properly covered in Turkey.

ADDITIONAL DOCUMENT – YOUR FINAL WISHES
As a supplement to the official Turkish documents, it is possible to prepare a personal document in which you describe your wishes in the event of illness, inability to sign documents or in the event of death.
The document is not, in itself, an official legal document, but it can be prepared as a supplement to, for example, a Lasting Power of Attorney or a will.

Several of you have been contacted by us because we have been made aware that updated information is missing in connection with the personal registration with the electricity company CK Deniz. We can, of course, assist you in getting this corrected.
Please note, however, that this assistance is part of our additional service.
The electricity company has informed us that the registration must be correct and up to date, as otherwise there may be a risk that the electricity supply to the property could be disconnected.
Specifically, this concerns ensuring that your tax number (Vergi Numarası) is correctly registered in the electricity company’s system.
The most important thing is that your information is correct and up to date in the relevant public systems in Turkey.
