Deed / Tapu Service

In Turkey, a title deed is called "Tapu" and this is your proof of ownership of your holiday home. This document is one of the most important things you get when you buy a holiday home in Turkey. If you have not received this document during the purchase process of your home, we can help you with this.

Preparing a title deed involves, among other things, many visits to several different public offices. At J.O. Dreams, you only need to come into our office, prepare a power of attorney and then J.O. Dreams will take care of the rest.

Registering a title deed in Turkey costs 4.1% of the registered value that is stated on the title deed that belongs to the home. However, we ask our customers to be aware that the registered value and the traded value are often not the same.

This is due to several factors, but the most obvious factor is that tax control in Turkey is not as strict as it is in Europe. The 4.1% in title deed fees during a registration case are most often paid by the buyer. Furthermore, you should be aware that there are other small amounts that must be paid when buying/selling a holiday home.
